Between insurance runarounds, billing department hold music, and the anxiety of calling a new provider for the first time, it's no wonder people put these off. Here's every healthcare call you might need to make, with the info and scripts to get through each one.
Health Insurance

- Best time to call Mid-week mornings — avoid open enrollment season (Oct–Jan).
- Tip Write down the rep's name and reference number for every call. Insurance disputes often require multiple calls, and a paper trail saves you.
Hospital Billing
